From time to time, it becomes necessary for a soccer club to discipline players or team officials within the club. From a player perspective this can include (but not be limited to) discipline for a dismissal from a game, or for an accumulation of yellows cards through a number of games. From a team official this can include (but not be limited to), dismissal from a game, or the playing of an unregistered or ineligible player. The attached procedure, outlines the process Guelph Soccer will use to deal with these type of incidents moving forward. After receiving a red card at a game, the accused has 3 days to contact Guelph Soccer's Program Manager (Barb Mayes) at the Clubhouse office to request a hearing in writing except in cases of O.S.A. Misconduct Type 1.3, 1.5 and 1.6. Otherwise, the red card will be processed by Discipline by Review (DBR) and cannot be appealed. |
