2026 Neighbourhood Program

Program Overview

This program focuses on fun and enjoyment while acting as a ‘pick-up soccer in your backyard’ type of environment. We offer the program throughout different neighbourhoods in the city to try and reduce the financial and transportation barrier some families experience while still offering a developmental opportunity for players to progress throughout the summer.

Participants are separated into three coed age groups: Active Start (U4-7), Fundamentals (U8-U9), and Learn to Train (U10-U12). The program’s focus is to provide a fun soccer environment where players can participate in individual activities, group challenges, and small sided games (3v3, 4v4, 5v5). All sessions are 45 minutes in length, facilitated by our program staff, and assisted by volunteers. This program is available for players born 2022 to 2014 (ages 4 to 12).

Dates, times, & Location

Please review the Neighbourhood program chart below. Please note we will be running 2 blocks of Neighbourhood this summer. Each block will be 6-weeks in length. Dates and times are based on year of birth. Please note that Guelph Soccer reserves the right to change days of play, start times, locations, and/or combine any age groups at any time.

Block 2 of Neighbourhood is not available to register for at this time. More information will be available at a later date.
