If you’re interested in volunteering, please take a moment to complete our Google Form here to let us know your availability and preferences.

Regardless of the program, your support makes a meaningful difference, and we’d love to have you on board! Thank you for your consideration!

Year Round Volunteer Opportunities

Annually we have over 350 house league teams and 50 competitive teams all coached by dedicated volunteers.

1. House League: Coaching at the recreational level requires no experience. We simply ask that volunteers are dedicated to their team and have a desire to learn. We provide you with all the necessary information, resources, and support needed to have a successful season. For more information, please email paige.parker@guelphsoccer.ca.

2. Rep: We open rep coach applications each year in August. This is an opportunity for volunteers to express their interest in coaching at the competitive level. Coaches go through an application process to determine suitability and fit. There are different certifications required for each age group. For more information, please email justin.springer@guelphsoccer.ca.

3. Program Support: Guelph Soccer is proud to collaborate with Autism Ontario to bring soccer to youth with and/or without developmental/physical disabilities. Dedicated volunteers will work 1 on 1 with athletes to help support the Program Lead in implementing developmentally appropriate programming. For more information, please email caitlin.dunsmore@guelphsoccer.ca.

4. Board of Directors: Guelph Soccer Club has a volunteer Board of Directors that oversee the governance of the Club. The Board operates on a 3-year term for each position. The Board is always looking for dedicated and committed individuals to join. For more information, please email david.frizzell@guelphsoccer.ca.
