2025-2026 Academy Program
Guelph Soccer is thrilled to continue into our fifth year of our Junior Gryphons Academy Program for the 2025-2026 competitive season. The Academy Program will include the following teams:
Boys U14 (2012)
Girls U14 (2012)
Boys U15 (2011)
Girls U16 (2010)
Boys U16 (2010)
The soccer landscape in our province and country is gaining momentum, and the academy program will provide our Jr. Gryphons players with a high-performance pathway that will help navigate this. Players will work closely with Guelph Soccer’s technical staff and certified team coaches to elevate their training experience through:
Increased weekly practices
Strength and conditioning program
Technical staff led futsal program
Educational and game analysis sessions
Individual goal setting
The aim of the program is to equip our players with the tools needed and the right support to take on their League 1 Ontario and/or post-secondary pursuits!
About the 2025-2026 Competitive rep program
The competitive program runs from October 2025 to September 2026. During the indoor season (October to April), teams will have two turf practices per week, and an 18-week futsal program. The Academy teams will also participate in the Provincial Indoor Soccer League during the indoor season.
From May to the end of August, teams will have three practices per week and they will participate in the iModel West Region.
The teams will also have a 32-week Strength and Conditioning program that will span both the indoor and outdoor season.
