Guelph Soccer Club agrees to a multi-year partnership with United Proactive Performance
Guelph, ON – The Guelph Soccer Club and United Proactive Performance have agreed to a multi-year sports science and medicine partnership to support soccer players in the community.
Effective immediately, United Proactive Performance will be recognized as the “Preferred Sport Performance & Health Clinic” of the Guelph Soccer Club. As the “Preferred Sport Performance & Health Clinic”, members of the Guelph Soccer Club Soccer For Life Competitive Program (13+) are encouraged to visit United Proactive Performance to diagnose the root cause of an injury and/or access any one of the services that they offer.
“The Guelph Soccer Club is thrilled to be able to connect our older players with United Proactive Performance”, said David Frizzell, Executive Director of the Guelph Soccer Club. “Education and injury prevention is at the forefront of our strength and conditioning program, but to be able to provide an additional avenue of support for our network of families is invaluable.”

ABOUT UNITED PROACTIVE PERFORMANCE
Founded by Dr. Marco Lozej, Marco is a leader of integrated support teams in multiple dynasty champions nationally and internationally. He gives every athlete and team the support they need to achieve the next level of performance. Marco practices an athlete centered approach focusing on their health and performance. He has worked with over 60 Olympians across both summer and winter games achieving podium winning performances. His collegiate experience includes 20 years as team chiropractor for the Guelph Gryphon varsity teams winning both OUA and USPORTS championships over 50 times.

Marco is passionate about soccer as a player, coach and practitioner. He played grassroots soccer in Peterborough where he progressed through the rep-competitive league and played 5-years for the Guelph Gryphons while at the same time playing attacking midfield for a highly successful Guelph Oaks Squad.
Today, he coaches his son’s rep BU10 soccer team and was previously an assistant coach of the Guelph Gryphons Women’s Varsity team.
As a chiropractor, Marco was the lead practitioner for Guelph Gryphon Women’s soccer team for 4-years and was part of their OUA championship season. He is excited to now support the Guelph Soccer Club.
