First on the Turf

First on the Turf is our annual outdoor festival and tournament for U10-U18 competitive teams. This event takes place at the University of Guelph and Bishop Macdonell Catholic High School between April 24th to May 3rd, 2026!

STRUCTURE

U10-U11 FESTIVAL
Format: 7v7
Game Duration: 2x20 minute halves
Location: University of Guelph Gryphon Soccer Complex
Fee: $350
Dates:
BU10 - April 25th
BU11 - April 26th
GU10 - May 2nd
GU11 - May 3rd
Will receive two games

U12-U13 FESTIVAL
Format: 9v9
Game Duration: 2x25 minute halves
Location: University of Guelph Gryphon Soccer Complex
Fee: $350

BU12 - April 25th
BU13 - April 26th
GU12 - May 2nd
GU13 - May 3rd
Will receive two games

U14-U18 TOURNAMENT
Format: 11v11
Game Duration: 2x25 minute halves
Location: University of Guelph Gryphon Soccer Complex and Bishop Macdonell Catholic High School
Fee: $725
Dates:
BU14-BU18 - April 24th to April 26th
GU14-GU18 - May 1st to May 3rd
Guaranteed three preliminary games with semi-finals and finals

U14-U16 divisions will be tiered - Tier 1 (Regional/iModel) and Tier 2 (District)

All U14-U18 teams will have one game on Friday. Please be prepared to play as early as 3:00 pm on Friday.
U14-U18 teams, if you can't play on Friday, please do not register for the tournament.

PAYMENT/REFUNDS

Payment is due two weeks after you have been accepted into the festival/tournament. Teams will automatically be withdrawn should payment not be received within two weeks of acceptance.

Teams may withdraw from the event up until April 1st with a 50% administrative fee. There will be no refunds after April 1st.
